Despite co-starring with Lady Gaga in the upcoming film Joker: Folie à Deux, Joaquin Phoenix wasn’t always familiar with the pop icon’s work. In a recent interview with Capital FM, Gaga reflected on a throwback video from 14 years ago, in which Miley Cyrus introduced the actor to her music.

When asked if he knows the "Poker Face" singer, Phoenix humorously responds, claiming he is "very familiar" with her work before jokingly referencing non-existent songs like “Everybody Goes Up” and “Two Lashes at a Time.” Cyrus, unfazed, begins singing Gaga’s hit "Bad Romance," which the actor fails to recognize. Reacting to the old footage, Gaga laughs and quips, “I know what I’m showing him later.”
