It's been two years since the release of the Grammy-nominated album Good Morning Gorgeous, which saw success with its denting of the Billboard Hot 100 single; Mary J. Blige is going to try and repeat that commercial momentum with the upcoming "Breathing."

The very well-received single releases "Still Believe in Love" and "Beautiful Life" precede Mary J. Blige's brand new single, "Breathing," off her yet-untitled upcoming album, which might be the last according to her. It has been highly anticipated as a follow-up to her 2022 album, Good Morning Gorgeous.
Announced via social media over the weekend, Blige confirmed that the new single will feature four-time Grammy nominee Fabolous. The announcement of "Breathing" has been received very well by long-time fans awaiting her return to music after her recent focus on acting credits that include STARZ's Power Book II and the upcoming film Rob Peace, set to premiere August 16.
Blige has not yet confirmed a release date for the new song or its accompanying music video.
