With 79.6 million streams this week, "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)" continues to be unbeatable in hip-hop and an unstoppable powerhouse across genres on Spotify. It has further hit a pivotal milestone, crossing the threshold of 700 million streams on Spotify—the fastest for any of Eminem's work.

With that being said, 700 million streams is equivalent to between $2.1 million and $3.5 million on the platform alone in just 3 weeks time. This just goes to show how much of a cash king streaming has become over the course of the past decade. Now you can even own a piece of Eminem's music through Royalty Exchange.

Investing in Eminem’s Music Royalties

Royalty Exchange is known as the leading platform for investors interested in earning from music royalties. In May 2024, Eminem’s "Hustlers & Hardcore" sound recording royalties was sold for $56,000, or 4.38 times its value in the last 12 months (LTM).

The catalog has earned $16,144 since 2021, and has a dollage age of 25.03 years. A higher Dollar Age is typically indicative of more stable earnings, as older songs tend to have more predictable royalty streams and could suggest that the substantial growth in earnings could potentially stabilize in the future.

The catalog earned $13,399 in 2023, up from only $178.82 in 2021. That’s a 74 times growth in just two years.

Much of the earnings come from streaming activities from international sources with $8,786 in the last 12 months.

Spotify is the top music source among users in terms of earnings with $12,663 in the last 12 months. It has more than 13 million streams on the platform.

With Eminem now back in the top spot, it’s clear that music royalties investors will be earning more from the heavy streaming that his past tracks are generating on Spotify and other platforms.
